Airside Training Academy (ATA) offers training courses to provide knowledge, develop skills and introduce trainees to safe operating techniques on airside vehicles. These courses are offered on various vehicle simulator range giving an opportunity to move from passive to active learning.


COURSES

Courses offered are Ramp Safety Induction, Airside Driving Skills and Operating Ground Staff Equipment. These courses are offered on various airside vehicle simulator ranges namely Baggage tractor, Pushback, Catering Truck and more.

RAMP SAFETY INDUCTION

The aim of this course is to provide basic knowledge on how to perform functions on the ramp safely. This course has been designed for all personnel involved in ramp handling to train new employees involved in ramp handling and provide refresher skills for current employees

AIRSIDE DRIVING SKILLS

The aim of this course is to provide individuals the knowledge and skills to drive on an airside safely. This course has been designed for all individuals who are expected to drive on an airside and near an aircraft as a part of their job.

OPERATING GROUND SUPPORT EQUIPMENT

The aim of this course is to introduce the trainees to safe operating techniques for the following listed ground handling equipment’s.

Aircraft Servicing
This course will introduce different driving techniques while towing and reversing dollies and trolleys. The lists of equipment included for training are baggage tractor, catering truck, passenger bus, fire trucks and fuel truck.

Aircraft Movement
The aim of this course is to provide the skills and knowledge required to safely drive and operate a pushback tractor.
